Use Advanced Search in the Clients module to filter by active status, then export or run a report with those results.
Filter for active clients
Click Clients in the top navigation bar
Click List in the left sidebar
Click Adv. Search at the top of the client list
Click Clear Search to remove any existing filters
Set your filters to include only active clients—this typically means selecting active case statuses or excluding inactive roles depending on how your organization defines "active"
Click Search to apply the filters
Your Advanced Search results remain active until you clear them, so you can use the same filtered list for multiple reports or exports.
Export or run a report
Once your filtered list displays:
To export the list: Use the export options directly from the client list view
To run a detailed report: Go to Reports, select your desired client report, choose Advanced Search Results from the upper-right dropdown, select Clients, then click Run
