These steps are for CoolFocus 5.
Thursdays are moving to 10. You don't have to change every Thursday one by one. Change the series once, and the openings ahead of you follow.
What happens when you change one
Click a repeating opening and choose Edit, drag it, or choose Delete. CoolFocus asks which ones to change:
This one: only this day.
This and following: this day and every one after it.
All: the whole series, from today on.
Booked appointments are never moved or removed, and neither are days that have passed. Only open, unedited openings ahead of you change.
Move or resize
Drag the opening to its new time, or drag its bottom edge to make it longer or shorter.
Choose This one, This and following or All.
If you drag it to a different day, only that one moves. There's nothing to ask.
Change the repeat itself
Click the opening and choose Edit. Change the days or the Until date, then choose which ones it applies to. You can change the day or the repeat in one save, not both. Save one, then the other.
To end a series, delete This and following from the first day you don't want.
Delete
Click the opening, choose Delete, then choose which ones go. Anyone already booked stays booked.
If the series came from CoolFocus 3
An open time you repeated in CoolFocus 3 changes like any other. The first time you choose This and following or All, CoolFocus 5 tells you: "After this change, CoolFocus 3 can't change this series all at once anymore. You can still book or remove its times one by one in either version." Your team can keep booking those times in CoolFocus 3.
A CoolFocus 3 series keeps its own repeat when you choose Edit. To change the repeat, change the series with This and following or All on a drag, or delete it and add it again.
Good to know
Staff who can change appointments can change a series. The first change to a CoolFocus 3 series needs a scheduler administrator.
Making a copy: hold Alt (Option on a Mac) while you drop an opening. That adds one more, and never changes the series.
